Weekend sparring match Sunday Dec 11, 14:00 UTC/ 09:00 am EST

Hi everyone,

Responding to https://www.chess.com/announcements/view/dhlc-slow-chess-its-all-about-timing 

and DHLC appointed me as newest admin

I will try to organize the sparring-match event for this weekend, with manual pairing system.

Let me explain the format.

Time control: 45m+45s (Rated), and you will play 1 game only.

Played on: Sunday, Dec 11, 14:00 UTC (09:00 am EST)

You will register by writing down in comment section: Your chess.com nick, your current Rapid Rating when registered

An hour before the starting time, I will post the pairing at comment section. (I will not send the message to your Inbox, so please check this page regularly before the starting time).

I will list the players from highest rating to lowest rating.

For example: if there are 6 players 

Player#1 (highest rating)
Player#2 (2nd rank)
Player#3 (3rd rank)
Player#4 (4th rank)
Player#5 (5th rank)
Player#6 (6th rank)

Then I will set the pairing as follow:

Player#1 (White) vs Player#2 (Black)
Player#3 (White) vs Player#4 (Black) 
Player#5 (White) vs Player#6 (Black) .. and so on

This way, the 2 players with closest rating with play each other.

NOTE:
- If there are odd number of players, then 1 player will have BYE- he/she will wait to be paired with the closer player whose opponent did not show up.

- If your opponent did not show up, please Inbox Message me, then I will try my best to pair you with the other closer player whose opponent did not show up as well.
