NEW FEATURE: Unlock Exclusive Cosmetics By Playing Monthly Bots

We're now testing a new feature to make playing our monthly bots even more fun! This new feature lets you unlock exclusive cosmetics like boards, piece sets, and even flairs by playing our monthly bots.

Please note that some of you may not see this feature live; if that's the case, please let us know in the comments. We kindly ask you not to send direct messages to specific staff members, as we might miss them.

Every month, a new set of bots with unique personalities, strengths, and playing styles is available for you to challenge. Now, you'll earn points whenever you play against one of them. While you'll still earn some points if you draw or lose, winning will net you a bigger prize. And naturally, the stronger the bot, the bigger the reward! You should also be strategic with hints and takebacks—every time you use one of them, you lose one point.

You'll also notice that a new daily material odds system, where some bots might have either a material advantage or disadvantage over you. You can use this system strategically to help you grind out points and collect your rewards faster. A green smiling face indicates easier bots, while a red skull indicates harder ones.

Every time a game against a bot ends, a modal will show you how many points you earned. It'll also show you all the points you've accumulated, and all the rewards you can win that month. You can replay any of the bots as many times as you want to help you in your quest for claiming all prizes!
