NEW FEATURE: Course Deviation Now Shows When You Deviated From Your Opening Courses

We're excited to announce another Game Review feature that will help you with your chess studies. When reviewing your opening play with Game Review, your coach will now show you when you deviated from the variations featured in your Chess.com Courses.
When you deviate from your Courses, your coach will give you the option to see your course's full line. You can also ask your coach to take you directly to the line in your course that covers the variation you've missed.
This new feature works on every single game you analyze with Game Review on Chess.com. You'll see it in games against other players, bots, your coach, between other players, and even if you upload PGNs to analyze.

Will this feature work even if I own multiple courses?
Yes, this feature will show when you deviate from any of your courses. If you own multiple courses, our feature will track them and let you know when you deviate from their recommendations.
What happens if I have more than one course showing the same variation of an opening?
If you own two courses, and each of them suggests different moves in the exact same line, we'll prioritize your most recently studied course.
If my courses are on Chessable but not on Chess.com, will this feature work?
No, it won't. This feature only works if you have Chess.com Courses in your library. But if you already own a Chessable course, you can easily import it to Chess.com. You'll just need to connect your Chessable and Chess.com accounts. You can then check if the courses have been successfully imported on your Chess.com Courses page.
What if I haven't studied every line of my course? Will the feature still work?
Yes, the feature works even if you haven't studied all the lines in your course. It points out every deviation, even if you haven't learned a particular line yet.
