New General Manager of the Pawngrabbers!

The Pittsburgh Pawngrabbers have hired National Master Grant Xu as General Manager for the 2020 PRO Chess League season. Xu scored the Pawngrabbers' first-ever point against the San Francisco Mechanics in 2017 and is now back to bring the Pawngrabbers a Championship!

This season, Grant score 10.5 out of 22 for the New York Marshalls as a board 4. He was a big part of the reason that the Marshalls made the playoffs this season. He could consistently score 50% as a board 4 which made him as valuable as any player on their team. He has won 4 consecutive PA State Championships, which shows just good of a player he is. As the General Manager of the Pawngrabbers, he has 3 years of in-action PRO Chess league experience to rely on, which means he has firsthand experience of what players experience week-to-week. His ability to understand lineup configurations should be as good as anybody in the league and his connections with great players should allow for high quality recruiting which can get us great players for years to come. His ambition for immediate success gives me complete confidence that the future of the Pawngrabbers' management is in great hands.
