No over the board chess on Wednesday, but we can still play online!
Hi all, please note that Victoria is currently by affected by a 5-day lockdown, which extends to Wednesday Feb 17th.
This means that our face to face Chess Club meeting planned for Feb 17th, will be cancelled.
Our planned event (Annual General Meeting) will need to be deferred to the following week (Feb 24th).
In the meantime, I have created a replacement online tournament for next Wednesday: https://www.chess.com/live#r=943518

Last week, we concluded our first tournament for the year, the Mark Harrington memorial rapid. This was won by new member Rifky Althaf on 6/6.
I can only hope that the 5-day lockdown will end next week and that we can get back to meeting face to face again on Feb 24th.
