One World League Daily Tournaments for 2024
To All Chess Master members of TPDC. Perhaps you have a very good idea why Team Philippines Daily Chess club was created by Sky_Ace. Obviously to provide the Daily chess tournament needs that TPLC can not give to its members because of TPLC's exclusivity to LIVE chess.
In this regard, TPDC would like to inform you that One World League is conducting Daily Tournaments every year in different categories.
TPDC would like to solicit your thoughts on this subject if you would like to join One World tournaments for 2024.
Here's a sneak peak of what's going on in 1WL tourneys for this year.

Registrations are open for the 1200-1400 Spring Masters.
Clubs qualify for the 1200-1400 Spring Masters by their results in the U1400 2023, followed by newly participating clubs in the U1400 2024. The highest six confirming clubs will play in the 1200-1400 Spring Masters. Up to 18 clubs will play in three 1200-1400 Experts groups. Up to 54 more clubs will be placed in up to nine 1200-1400 Candidates groups. Only group winners will promote and up to three clubs will relegate. If clubs opt out for the following season, spots will be filled with wild cards.
In the event, that more than 78 clubs like to participate, the 79th and following clubs will be placed in Qualifier groups.
Parameters will be the same for all groups: 4+ players, 1 day/move, 10 minimum games. All matches will start on April 14. Provisional results on June 22 will determine placements for the 1400-1600 Summer Masters (Experts and Starters), which is scheduled to start on July 14. During June clubs can opt out from their participation and new clubs can register for the upcoming season.
Sonneberger-Berger will be first tiebreaker, point ratio second.
Listed are asked to confirm their participation. New clubs can register in this forum. They will be added to the list in order registrations and will participate, if they can provide a link to an ongoing match with at least five players rated between 1200 and 1400.
Registrations are scheduled to close on March 23.
Group lists (for your pairings) will be posted latest on March 29.
