Recently I have been seeing a strange opening for black that combines the French Defense and the Wayward Queen attack together.  The opening goes like this:

At first, I thought the opening would be easy to beat but it's actually quite tricky because someone almost beat me with it.  Here is one of the traps a person can fall into.

Although this position isn't all that bad for white, the exposed king can really become a big issue once black starts developing their pieces.  Instead of doing this, you should try this gambit instead:

Now I know that right now this looks bad because you're down a pawn and allowing black to infiltrate your territory with their queen but there's a really good reason for it.  Doing this will actually put you in a huge lead in development:

You may think this position looks good but this is only a scenario where black chose all the right moves.  Here's a scenario where black makes a huge mistake that's not so easy to spot.

The queen is trapped and you have now won the game!  But there's more,  here we have yet another queen trap:

That's all I have so far but possibly in the future I'll come up with more ideas for this opening.  Not much is known about the strange opening for black, almost no one uses it because it completely disregards the basic fundamentals of chess so you may not see it very often but on the rare chance you do see it, you will be ready.
