Over-the-Board (OTB) Tournament Announcements

We will be making an effort to keep you informed concerning upcoming tournaments and events sponsored by the West Virginia Chess Association and West Virginia Clubs. These events will require a US Chess membership, but US Chess also holds tournaments on Chess.com with a Online Rating through the "US Chess - Members Only" club. It just takes linking your chess.com account to your US Chess ID.

Which is better, OTB or online? I believe both have their own areas where each has advantages over the other.
