This Wednesday the Amsterdam Mosquitoes are facing an opponent who will definitely give them a headache: the Marseille Migraines. The Migraines are the team of super GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave who will not compete this match as he is participating in the Gibraltar Masters. After their dramatic loss in round two, the Migraines will be more than keen to bounce back with a victory. The Mosquitoes on the other hand are the proud leaders of the Central Division going into the round and are looking to extend their winning streak to three matches.

Despite the Mosquitoes higher place in the standings, the Migraines are the clear rating favourites. In absence of MVL GM Etienne Bacrot will be leading the French squad in what will be his third PCL match. So far he has managed to score 5/8. GM Gozzoli is a chess.com bullet legend who played only in Marseilles second match (2.5/4). GM Moussard and Alexandre Bacrot will be making their PCL debut.

No new names in the Mosquitoes squad as all players have competed in one of the previous rounds. GM Klein and IM Ducarmon had a good start with 3.5/4 and 2.5/4 respectively. IM Admiraal and Dek on the other hand will need to step it up from their combined 0.5/8 performance if the Mosquitoes are to stand any chance. Let's look at the playing schedule.
