Pinellas Wraps Up 1st Season in 20/20

We enjoyed playing in this season’s 20/20 Championship League, an international chess league with over 100 teams, and we hope to play in 20/20 next season!  The final round officially ends on August 1, but we finished our last match early; here are our season’s results (3 – 7):

Participation in this league is open to anyone in PCS Chess.  To accommodate a mid-season league change, we created a separate club called “Pinellas County FL” and started using Remind.com to send match reminders because sometimes people who said they would play forgot the day/time of matches.  If you want to play next season, you must join Remind system by texting @pcschess1 to 81010 from your cell phone.  We will then (1) send you an invitation to join the “Pinellas County FL” club and (2) use remind.com to send reminder(s) shortly before matches.
