FAQ: NorCal Scholastic State Championship 2022
The 47th Annual CalChess Scholastic State tournament, aka SuperStates, is the premier local tournament of the year, with 1,000+ players from around Northern California expected over multiple weekends.
The K-12 tournament will take place on April 23-24 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. It is split into multiple sections, from new tournament players to experienced USCF-rated competitors, with tournaments for U1200 rated players taking place on ONE day.
We are encouraging DHS Chess club members to compete for both individual and team trophies, including helping us win the State Championship!
