Results of the East Idaho Region Scholastic Qualifier

Congratulations to Hanford Chong, Malea Heineck, Joseph Zhao for winning in the K-5 section; Kaustubh Kodihalli, Daniel Yang, Sina Heineck for taking the 6-8 section; and Bryce Leifeste, Justin He, Alex Brown for placing in the 9-12 section.  Other players qualified as well under some of the other rules outlined at bit.ly/21Scholastics.  I was really excited to see all the good chess games being played across the state!  Please see the news blog on the Idaho Chess Association website for a complete roundup.
