Scotch Game opening trap
This trap comes from the scotch game : 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4. Then that follows is 3.. exd5 4. Nxd5 Bc5. Then you opponent might 5. play Nxc6. Then you play Qf6. This is the Intermezzo variation of the Classical Scotch game. You threaten checkmate with Qxf2. If you opponent does something that does not defend f2, like taking you a-pawn, it is a easy win. This can happen in various ways, and this is just one of them.
