Seeking Players for Two Games/Month League

PCS Chess is participating in the 2020 Worldwide Online Team Chess Championships along with about 140 other teams.  To play, send your email to me (avlonitisg@pcsb.org) along with the days of the week and times you are normally available to play and I will send you the rules.  Below are a few of them:

Format:  All teams will be pooled into one Swiss system league for 14 Rounds which will take place from Nov 2020 - Oct 2021.  The schedule with the dates for the matches to be completed by can be found at https://results.scorchapp.co.uk/t/2020Chess/pairings/1 .  We can play our matches at any time with agreement from our opponents before the deadline.  For each match, each player would play 2 games per round against the same opponent back to back.  The time control is 10 minutes + 5 second increment. (if the captains agree 10+2 or 10+0 is acceptable also).  So therefore 2 x 20-minute odd games hence the name '2020'!  Matches will be 4 or more PCS Chess players against a matching number of opposition players.  If we have only 3 players we forfeit one board, less than 3 we forfeit the match at an 8-0 score- line automatically.  We can chop and change our team for each match, but the key is having at least four players available each match-day.  We must declare to our opponent how many players we expect before 6 hours before the game is due to start.
