September 11/12: Your Tournament Cocktail For The Week-End

This is your Tournament Cocktail for the September 11/12 of 2021 week-end. As per the announcement made earlier, the Slow Chess League (SCL) and Dan Heisman Learning Center (DHLC) sister clubs are now coordinating their actions in order to better promote and organize slow live chess on Chessdotcom. It took time to determine the right startegy but, you know, this is slow chess, after all! 

Thus from now on, the same news regarding the clubs' upcoming events will be posted in both clubs. Make sure you are member for each of them so that you have access to all the tournaments. Here are the links to enter each club:

About the week-end tournaments at DHLC, please note that we will be testing the Arena type of event during those 2 days. We think that it might offer some advantages to the players. For instance, our tourneys will be good for 12 hours, enabling the participants to play lots of games. Another interesting aspect is that you will be paired with players as close to your rating as possible. Naturally, you may want to join right when the tournament starts or later.
