Silverdale Chess Club's Winning Move!

Dear Silverdale Chess Club Family and Friends,

This week the Silverdale Chess Club will make a winning move across town to the Silverdale Lighting Plaza, home of Hobby Town, Hakata Japanese Restaurant, Fedex Office Center and Lone Star Donuts (among others), all next door to Moment Brewing, a new venue for Chess that offers the best of all worlds.

We’ll be setting up the new, triple-weighted chess sets and clocks at around 2:00 PM and may want to consider two o’clock as a better start time than 2:30 since Lone Star Donuts closes at 3PM on Saturdays. If you wish, you can bring food, or coffee, or other refreshments, into the Club or purchase food and drink inside Moment Brewing, or forget about food altogether - it’s one more option for you — like playing e4, d4, c4, f4, b3  or Nf3 on the first move. (We even have a club member who fancies g4 (the Grob!)
