I would appreciate very much if we could start using the following format in all of our team match challenges (vote, 960, standard & regular).  It will also serve as a guideline to accepting challenges from other teams:

 

1.  30 - 60 - 10% =  30% challenges from groups smaller or that have a lower rate than

                                   us by 50 pts or less.  Usually the smaller groups.

                                 

                                  60%  This will be the bulk of our challenges and acceptance  

                                   of challenges.  Near equal in members, team rating average.

 

                                   10% challenges to or from larger groups or groups that out rate

                                    us by 50 pts or more.

 

2.  Accept or issue challenges, on our terms:

                                    No auto start, if an open challenge, must have a player maximum.

                                    Preferred: matches set with a firm rating range.

 

3.  Before accepting or issuing any challenges, check our current matches to see what and how

     many matches are ongoing , we don't want to stretch our members too thin? 

 

     By adhering to these guidelines it will improve our won/loss record and make everyone's

     team match experience more enjoyable and fun. 

If you find it hard to get members to join a team match, it might be due to the following:

                   too many team matches

                    match ratings too lop sided (nobody likes to play in a match where          

                    they are out rated all the time)

                    The bulk of players for team matches will be mid to lower ratings, so

                    adjust your matches accordingly.  Higher rated players tend to not

                    play team matches when the ratings are to low, so create matches

                    for higher rated players in mind.
