Team England Live games

I'd like to draw your attention again to the TEL group

There are a couple of us who play regularly (MrGibbs et al)and the organisers struggle sometimes to get numbers.  So I hope we can help!  The format is 5|2 and games take place most weeks, often a Sunday night against other nations

You mightn't always get a team game (most of the time you should) and everyone who attempts to play pretty much makes the team stronger.  I've been pitched against 1800 players and had an ok game, though truth be told, thats cannon fodder and a bit pointless.  There just arent sometimes enough players to even out a match, or play on an even field

So the more of us play, the stronger the team, and the better chance of lower rated players getting points.

In order to try and get new players and build the team  a couple of new initiatives are being floated about

The first is tonight, is a live internal blitz, 5|2 swiss.  Anyone free, just join, and turn up.  The game is at 19:30 with an 18:30 registration time

It would be really cool to get our team playing.  There isnt really any commitment.  The next game after this team builder is vs Italy on 1 Jan at 20:45

So if you havent plans this evening and have 45 mins to an hour to spare, please come,  we might play one another even!
