Hey chess players! The next major local tournament of the 2018 season will be held in Richmond, from 19-21 May, 2018.  Held since 1976, the Keres Memorial honours the legacy of legendary Soviet-Estonian GM Paul Keres, who tragically died on his return home from winning the Vancouver Open in 1975. In recent years, this tournament has grown in popularity, and upwards of 140 players are expected. With a guaranteed prize fund of $5000 to be dispersed among four rating sections, you won't want to miss out.

**Early bird registration at reduced rates closes April 16**
