World Cities League 2018 - Chess 960 (Fischer Random)

Congratulations, Vancouver!

Since we tied for second place in the Chess 960 World Cities League last year, we have been promoted to a higher one! This year we will be playing in division 2B with other successful international city clubs, such as Manila, Bucharest and Bordeaux, to name a few. This promotion comes with a bit more responsibility - we now have to field a team of at least EIGHT players per match. If you like chess 960, or even if you're curious to give it a try, please sign up for all matches labeled "960 WCL2018."

Our first match will be against previous opponent Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Watch for the match registration announcement very soon. Let's repeat our fantastic performance in the World Cities League!
