The Bulldog Manifesto #1: A Record, The Second Morgarten, and a Competition
Hello all, this is @HolographWars making the first edition of the Bulldog Manifesto! I hope you will enjoy the more frequent news, the first outside-sourced news report.

We have an amazing rookie still not one month from finishing his first game, @rychessmaster1. He currently has a stunning 6-0-1 record, and his rating is 1482. The number 2 spot was stolen from @captaintugwash! This is a record that will probably never be broken.

Since I have no game to share with you today, I will say the current situation on the Battle of Morgarten 2: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess960-chess-variants/battle-of-morgarten-2-mcgoofan-and-holographwars-vs-rychessmaster1-and-cm-th?page=5
This battle involves: @McGoohan and @HolographWars representing White and @rychessmaster1 and CM @thegreatauk playing Black. Using a well-timed piece strike and a backyard queen invasion, White was able to totally mess up Black's position! White decided to name their opening the "McHolo opening" due to the massive influence it had on the game.
3. The Big-Dog Tournament
This tournament is in it's early stages, but especially if players like @rychessmaster1 or @thegreatauk want to win, they still have to go through several games. Currently, @JohnHS has won against @FlyEaglesFly on time after playing one move! Similarly, @thegreatauk has one against @HorribleTomato, also on time! Finally, @HolographWars won against @evert823, not on time, but by an early blunder. This tournament is shaping to be a great one! (Though not so much for the people who had already gotten eliminated.)
4. The Standings!
As usual, @Martin0 is at the top, nearing 1600. @rychessmaster1 is the new kid on the block, albeit a dangerous one. Everyone else seems to be static, with little or no change, I will get to those details on the next Bulldog Manifesto.
