The Club is Growing!

Good morning, SCSC!

Congratulations, you are all a part of our schools first universal chess club and you are welcome here!  More people are joining every day and it is encouraged to invite your friends.  Even if they are not familiar with how to play chess, this is a place to learn and have fun with friends/family.  If someone joins the website and our club, they are not required to compete in the tournament.  They can watch the tournament when it happens though and cheer on their friends!

In global news, there is a chess tournament that is happening right now between the nations of the world!  Yesterday, China had the lead and the US was tied for 2nd place.  The links to watch matches and keep up with the standings are on your homepage or in the menu under "Today."  They are in rounds 5 and 6 right now.
