In this video, IM Alex Astaneh is sharing with you the Scotch Gambit which can lead via a couple of different move orders to the Italian Game. The Scotch Gambit can be characterized by the following move order:  1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.d4 exd4.

After black takes on d4, we enter the Scotch Gambit. Besides the general plans and ideas in the Scotch Gambit, the focus of this video is on the Perreux Variation.
