The Strategies Of King Of The Ladder
Here y'all people and vegetables of the KOTL community! My name is Jabediah Mushroom and I am here today to explain the different strategies in all the KOTL games. During my time in the KOTL community, I have discovered many patterns and ways people have played from being a pacifist or going on a killing spree. Without further to do, let's get started.
Gorilla Warfare
Yes you guys know this one. Always looking for the one guy who isnt lfa. Always hideing in a bush. Always setting traps, camping and buying weapons. Never stepping in to any fight unless necessary. This is the strategy where the player camps and always pms his location to the mod ambushing his opponents mercilessly.
Pros:
- Very effective
- Hard to counter
- Easy to do
Cons:
- Boring
- Nearly impossible to do when pms are banned
- Unfair to those who forget to say lfa
Pacifist
You either love them, or you hate them, there are the players that always forge an alliance and always have each others backs making it hard to sneak attack. Like they always say: "Strength in numbers". These players are looking to pick on the little ones with their combined strength and numbers. Sometimes though, backstabs occur...
Pros:
- Very effective
- Hard to counter
- Easy if done correctly
Cons:
- Boring for all except alliance
- Teammates can backstab you
- Alliance members can be picked off one by one by a sniper or something
Camping
This is the one guy that stays in his house all day presumably being a couch potato and eating all his quarantine snacks in one day. He always waits until everyone else dies and cleans up and kills everyone that enters. He only buys weapons and never goes out to kill or sneak attack. This is pretty much a solid player.
Pros:
- Very effective
- Literally cannot die
- Easy to do
Cons:
- Boring
- Faces issues in games like gold rush and survival
- can be sneak attacked by explosives
Mastermind
This type of player may not be known but is definitely obvious when thought about. The guy that decides to move if he needs to, join an alliance then back stab when they're too strong, blow things up randomly to be safe or camp when neccesary. This is the guy that uses the most strategy planning the whole game, who to backstab and when, when to stay hidden and all the sorts.
Pros:
- The plan almost always works
- Almost impossible to guess what you will do
- Alliances work nearly always
Cons:
- Hard to plan
- Once exposed, it sinks
- very hard since you may have to lie
thanks for viewing this. What type of player are you? I am more of a category 4 player. Until next time, bye.
