Dear SiIverdale Chess Friends and Families,
You may recognize the name of Caissa as the Goddess of Chess.
Staring this week, we will be offering Chess Lessons in “Caissa’s Corner,” the far left corner of the virtual chessboard, to the far left of the front door, next to the Scorer’s table.
This will allow one corner of the room for lessons on chess openings, chess middle games, and chess end game strategies and tactics for anyone interested. In the corner square, we will not need to talk over the entire playing area to those who are engaged in regular game play.
If you have questions about your opening repertoire, are building an opening repertoire, or are looking to learn more about specific chess openings, from the King’s Gambit to the Dragon variation of the Sicilian Defense, to the King’s Indian, Queen’s Indian, Nimzo Indian or Bogo-Indian (among many others), join us at the “a1" corner square in the room.
Hope to see you Saturday!
Larry S,
The Silverdale Chess Club meets on Saturdays from 2:30-4:30 at Moment Brewing, 10876 Myhre Pl NW Suite 112, Silverdale, WA 98383
