TXBaseballFan wins again!!!

     For the 2nd time this week the HOTTTT TXBaseballFan has won a small tourney for the foosters

Game 1 was a battle of attrition eventually won by TXBF when his opponent resigned down a pawn in an easy endgame win.

     Game #2 (18 move winnah) was more lopsided...  It started out when Chalwaah (Hailing from Jamaica)... tried a KPO opening with e4.  TXBF quickly thwarted this idea by countering with a NIMZOWITSCH after a d4 and e6 push...  TXBF got them off their game.

     A high octane attack proceeded next.  TXBF chose to take with his d pawn on the BxN exchange and opened up the floodgates for development.  Chalwaah tried to push another pawn across the 4th rank (3 pawns now)...  TXBF decided to apply pressure and start off his relentless attack with a bishop check at b4 !!!

     After a few moves of tactical play...... Chalwaah pushed a3 and now it was time for TXBF's first major decision.  He responded with a NxB exchange, then exchanged 2 pawns and finally winning white's pawn on e4.  Chalwaah made a horrible play attacking with his f2 pawn which opened the floodgates.

     Q check at h4...  desperation set in and Chalwaah moved his g-pawn to g3.....  a quick and concise NxP was emphatic by TXBF.  More desperation checks followed by white and finally settled with a pawn push on move 14.

      First NxR undiscovered check..... then QxP @ h2......  After white checked and black's king moved Chalwaah made his last blunder by checking at c7 with QxP.  He overlooked the recently occupied h2 by the opposing black Q.  TXBF immediately took the opponent's Q at c7 with QxQ.

      Thus producing an immediate resignation.  TXBF is on a hot streak and we here at foo hope it continues
