Foo wins 4th straight VOTE CHESS game... 5th in last 6 games :D
With an impending NxP looming on the next play with a helpless trapped rook at a1, white chose to let the time run out to give the mighty FOO FIGHTERS a 4th straight victory in our vote chess matches.
The standard e4 / KPO follow up opening turned into the fun playing SCOTCH GAME when white (Mighty Chess) played d4. After a quick rebuff next move by white not taking a d4 pawn exchange instead playing Bc4 thus creating the always fun SCOTCH GAMBIT, black (TEAM FOO) replied with Nf6 using the always steady: Duboise Reti Defense (Scotch variation).
White countered with the S.G.-D-R advanced variation. A knight push by foo further complicated matters for white turning the simple scotch game into the S.G. D-R Adv.-Var. Kingside Variation Attack and it finally put a chink in WHITE's ARMOR !!!
Move 6 by white not only hurt with a loss of a pawn, but the knight retreat attack capurting white's pawn on e5 prevented a scotch game that looked more like a giocco piano clone.
Next move by white was more than desparation, it blundered away their attacking bishop by FOO's knight (NxB) on the very next move...... hanging their knight out with no purpose on the king-side.
A desperate Q check turned into not only a Q exchange, but then a CASTLING EXCHANGE as well with a missing f pawn previously pushed in front of the castling castle.
A frustrated b3 push attempt by white sealed the deal as the 11th and final move was not only an attack that has to move the rook out of harm's way, but also threatens to capture the white rook on the a1 square. Arguably, white could push their R to f2 to protect the NxP rook attack on move 12 by black, but...... that would open up a bishop attack after the FOOSTERS would most likely push b6 and then Ba6 winning the pinned rook and also keep winning points and piece advantages which led to the frustrated Mighty Chess team to just give up and let the time run out.......
