TXBaseballFan wins the Caro-Kann Defense tourney challenge
Little_Dragon, hailing from Coraopolis Pennsylvania, resigned game 1 after 17 moves when TXBaseballFan checked their opponent's queen with an undiscovered QUEEN attack as the light square bishop checked the king in the corner. I have used this same move many times and it is always a satisfying maneuver!!! ![]()
In game 2, there were twice as many moves as game one with TXBF putting relentless pressure on little dragon. First the Q & dark squared bishop teamed to rupture little dragon's Q-side pawn structure as well as apply tremendous pressure on white's king. After the scattering of pieces due to this Q/B attack, it was the light squared bishop to now take it's turn applying pressure to little dragon's queen along with the QUEEN !!! Eventually little dragon retreated to h1 and the Q put them out of their misery the next move.
Good job @TXBaseballFan, way to get a victory for Team Foo... We appreciate it
