Untitled Tuesday Reminder and Saturday Event
Here we go again! Our next event is tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5th. We will start at 3:30 PM Pacific time, 23:30 UTC, which should give time for Titled Tuesday to finish. Time zone converter: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Untitled+Tuesday&iso=20210105T2330.
This will be a ten round event. The time control will be three minutes with one second of increment following a similar change for Titled Tuesday.
The use of computer assistance is not permitted. Games will be monitored for fair play violations. Please do not cheat.
To join, go into the live chess server and select the Tournaments tab. The Untitled Tuesday event will appear in the list an hour before it is due to start. You can also use this link:

Note that chess.com has implemented a late-join feature, so if you miss the start of the tournament you can still join.
NOTE: For the month of January, we will experiment with moving two of our Tuesday events, on the 12th and the 26th, to an earlier time. These events will be at 16:00 UTC. The events on the 5th and the 19th will remain at our usual time of 23:30 UTC.
If this is a success and the earlier events have a good turnout, then going forward we will continue the schedule of alternating between 16:00 UTC and 23:30 UTC.
Saturday Event
Since there is no time that works for everyone, we will vary the time of the Saturday event every month to accommodate different time zones. If the time one month doesn't work, maybe next month will be better.

Again, we will go with ten rounds.
