UPDATE: NEW Navbar
Hey, Beta community!
We're excited to announce that our redesigned navigation bar is now rolling out to all Beta users. Here's what's new:
Consistent Width & Updated Organization
The navbar now maintains a fixed width of 170px, regardless of the language you have selected, which wasn't the case before. We've also reorganized our menu categories, including a brand new "Train" section to make finding your favorite learning tools even easier.
Make It Yours With Pinning
You can now customize your navbar to match your Chess.com habits:
- Pin your favorite items directly to the main navbar for instant access
- Hide primary nav items you don't use regularly
- Pin your clubs to see all of them on hover (perfect for active club members!)
Simply right-click any item and select "Pin" or "Unpin" to customize your navbar.
More Organized Notifications
We've reorganized how you receive updates:
- Play notifications are now in the Play menu where they belong
- The Friends widget shows online friends plus pending friend requests (incoming and outgoing)
- The Messages widget displays unread messages and active chats at a glance
- The Alerts section contains all other notifications in one tidy spot
Additional Changes
The Watch item prominently features live events and tournaments, making it easier to jump into the action when your favorite players are competing.
