Hello!

As many of you know, we have offered all members of the San Jose Chess Club the opportunity to play the USATW for our club. So far, we have 3 full teams signed up, with another team looking for one last player. That team needs a player between 1300-1600 USCF, and they are taking part in the u1800 section. Please message me to take that last spot.

We hope to have at least 3 teams in each section, we currently have 2 each. So, we are reaching out to everyone who has not yet registered. We will be grateful to anyone that decides to play for our team. Here are the details to register:

1) Sign up as an individual player and we will put you in a team.

Sign up for this option here: https://forms.gle/MZbCXa7JHbbgSLEh9

2) Create a team of players by yourself. This gives you flexibility to choose your own team.

You do not need to create a full team of 4. If you have a team of 2 or 3, We'll find you the other players required for your team. All players on the team need not participating in the same section.

If you do this, the average rating of the team has to be under 2200 if you are going to take part in the 1800+ section.

I forgot to mention this last time.

Why should you decide to play for our club?

San Jose Chess Club will do all the hassle of registering you or your team. All you need to do is send the registration fee to us.

We will contact you when the fee needs to be paid. Please do not register on the tournament website by yourselves.
