Vote Chess Rules
Vote Chess Rules
Dear teammates,
please adhere to the following guidelines during Vote Chess games.
1) Participate in discussion
When suggesting or supporting an idea, make sure to give your reasoning! Don't hesitate to ask stronger players questions; it will help you learn and might notice something that they missed! Remember that listening to others ideas, especially stronger players can improve your chess skill!
2) Vote Call Times
- 1 day per move - vote call at last 6 hours (discuss for 18 hours then vote)
- 2 days per move - vote call after 24 hours (discuss for 24 hours then vote)
- 3 days per move - vote call after 48 hours (discuss for 48 hours then vote)
3) Please be civil!
If you disagree with a teammates idea, explain to them why in a polite manner. Even if a suggested move is an obvious blunder, simply explain to them this is so. We are teammates, not adversaries, and we all want to get better.
4) Follow the vote call
We are a team, and we should be playing as such.
Note that if there are multiple good moves, the vote call will reflect that.
