The 12 Spookiest Chess Faces

Very few things in life are scarier than being stared down by a chess player moments before they beat you. A spooky glance from your opponent can inspire fear, intimidation, and sometimes, pure horror!

But some looks are more fierce than others, so in honor of Halloween, our team compiled a gallery of their favorite "scary looks" from a few of their favorite chess players. You may recognize them!

We hope you enjoy this fun article, and please leave a comment about which one was your favorite. Oh, and Happy Halloween from everyone at Chess.com!
