"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is a TV anime that has been broadcast in Japan since April 2019. The main character, Tanjiro Kamado, joins the Demon Slayer Corps in order to restore his sister Nezuko's humanity, as she has turned into a demon. Thanks to a mix of heartrending human and demon storylines, gruesome sword fights, and the occasional comic scenes, the series has gained much attention and popularity, not just in Japan but the world over.
