Welcome to our chess VECC, where pawns are people too and kings can be toppled with a flick of a wrist! We’re a group of chess enthusiasts who love nothing more than strategising, plotting, and outsmarting our opponents on the 64-square battlefield. Our club is haven for those who enjoy the sound of clacking chess pieces and the sweet taste of victory (or bitter taste of defeat, if that’s more your style). So whether you’re a seasoned grandmaster or a novice just learning the ropes, come join us for some good old-fashioned brain-bending fun! Just be warned, our club is know to cause intense bouts of concentration, occasional outbursts of excitement, the the occasional heated debate over the proper pronunciation of “en passant.”
