The Albany Area Chess Club meets at #6 British American Blvd, Latham, NY, near the airport. Meeting time and day is - 7:30 PM Wednesdays. Memberships dues start at our first official meeting of the year which is on the first Wednesday in October. The membership fee is $30 for adults, $15 for scholastic (including college). We allow 2 free visits before joining. The fee is prorated when joining after October. You don't need to be a member of the USCF to join the club, but we encourage our members to join as your chess development will be enhanced by playing rated opponents as well as having access to books, equipment and the monthly magazine Chess Life.
