I make a commitment that even if the person I am discussing with doesn't agree with me, it doesn't give me the right to degrade them, or belittle them, or poke fun at them. The point is discussion - bringing in emotions to the fray will usually generate strife.

I am making this commitment to walk away if I read something someone else wrote that makes me angry, and think before I speak. I admit, this is a learning process for me - I am human, not perfect by a long shot.
