On Thursday 16th December from 7:30PM to 9:30PM, Camberley Chess Club will host a Swiss tournament on chess.com. It will be 5 rounds long. ECF Club of the Year - Camberley Chess Club
Camberley Chess Club are very proud to have received the ECF Club of the Year Award. The award trophy was presented to the club on behalf of the ECF by IM Andrew Martin at Camberley Chess Club’s home location on Thursday 21st October 2021. IM Andrew Martin praised the committee and club’s achievements over the last year.

Camberley Chess Club will host its weekly Arena chess tournament on chess.com today at 4pm. This is open to players of all gradings. As for previous events, the time limit for each game will be 5 minutes plus a 2 second per move increment, and the tournament will last for 60 minutes.

The Morra Gambit - A Free Pawn
Following on from our last session with Andrew Martin on various gambits, this week's meeting will feature a talk by Ken Coates from Crowthorne Chess Club about the Morra Gambit.
