These are the guidelines for our club to make it a nice and safe community! This includes Community Rules, Event Rules and many more.

Community Rules:

Always treat others with kindness, respect, helpfulness, and forgiveness.
Do not use inappropriate language. Even if some of the words & abbreviations that are appropriate to you may not be for others.
Do not show any form of bigotry, or making violent threats towards others.
Do not abuse, attack, threaten or mistreat fellow members in any manner.
Do not disrupt or derail threads, engage in trolling, or post irrelevant or meaningless content anywhere in the club (it will be deleted, forums included).
Do not post spam or advertisements (Sharing links to clubs, blogs, and/or public forums). Please post them in designated areas.
Do not publicly debate religious or political topics.
Do not perform loopholing.
Do not engage in discussions involving illegal activities.
Do not share personal information (location, phone number, full name).
Do not participate in discussions of 'hacking'.
Do not argue with anyone.

Daily Match Rules:

Always play your best, you represent us!
Do not abort more than 15% of your games.
Do not keep opponents waiting unnecessarily.
When losing a game, don’t disconnect or quit without formally resigning.
Refrain from harassing or accusing fellow club members of foul play. If you have suspicions, please contact one of our Super Admins privately.
Do not use engines, software, bots, plugins, or any other tool for analysis during gameplay.
Avoid all discussion of cheating.

Vote Chess Rules:

Teamwork in VC is the most important part: Talk about strategies and ideas with the team before you vote. You can suggest the notation of the move ex. 2...Bc4 or if you have the time, create a diagram with the plan of the move and your ideas. This increases the chances everyone understands that the move being voted for is better.
Respect the opinions of all members: Be constructive in your discussions and votes.
Listen to higher rated players if you don't know where to move.
Do not sabotage vote chess games by intentionally casting votes for unfavorable moves.

Giveaway Rules:

In giveaways, there are 2 ways on how we chose the participants and 2 ways on how we chose the winner.

How we chose the participants:

Leaderboard: In the leaderboard system, We choose active players in our club to be in the giveaway. Anyone who begs to be in the leaderboard will be disqualified. Participants can ask to be removed from the leaderboard.

Request: In the request system, Players must ask the owner to be added to the list.

How we choose a winner.

Spinning: To choose the winner, we spin a wheel of contestants. Whoever gets picked wins the giveaway.

Voting: To choose a winner, We ask players to vote one of the participants in the list and whoever gets the most votes wins the giveaway.

A winner in a previous giveaway cannot join the next giveaway. The winner in the previous giveway must wait for the next giveaway to be finished before he/she can join another giveaway
Any participant in the giveaway who leaves the club will be disqualified from the giveaway even if he/she joined back.
In the "Voting" system, participants cannot vote for themselves.
