Darkness of Night is an elite and aristocratic chess club built for players who believe that true power lies in patience, intelligence, and flawless strategy. Founded on 11 November 2025, this club represents more than just chess—it represents discipline, unity, and mastery of the game.

The club was established by @lokesh-gamer-18 on Chess.com, with the vision of creating a strong, respectful, and competitive chess community.

Our Structure

To ensure excellence and clarity, Darkness of Night is organized into the following divisions:

  • Headquarters:
    🏰 Darkness of Night HQ – The central command where leadership, planning, and official decisions are made.

  • Support Team:
    🛡️ Darkness of Night Support – Responsible for member support, coordination, and maintaining discipline and order within the club.

  • Institute:
    🎓 Darkness of Night Institute – Dedicated to learning, training, and skill development.
    The Institute is guided by a 2000+ rated player, @bosszomby2015, who provides high-level instruction and strategic guidance to club members.

  • Legend (Alliance of Elite Clubs):
    👑 Darkness of Night Legend is not a player rank.
    It represents an alliance of large and powerful chess clubs that regularly participate in Multi-Club Arenas together.

    To be included in the Legend alliance, a club must strictly follow these rules:

    • The club must have 100+ members

    • The club age must be 90 days or older

    • The club must have at least one Titled Player

    Only clubs that meet these requirements are eligible to join and compete together in high-level multi-club events.

Club Activities

Darkness of Night actively participates in:

  • ♟️ Vote Chess Matches

  • ♟️ Daily Chess Matches

  • ♟️ Multi-Club Arenas (played strategically with qualified Legend clubs)

Every event is played with discipline, coordination, and mutual respect.
