Match Rules for Admins ✮ Chess Abrogators ✮

1. No auto starts. If auto starts should be agreed with other Admin group with 20 players per match 24hrs or 3 days.

2. Do not accept open challenges from large groups, unless you know and trust other admin to help balance match.

3. All individual player's game, should try be within 100 points, and no more than 199 points of each others rating.

4. Challenge groups same size or bigger than ours.

5. Any admin creating or accepting a match, must post good comment after match has been accepted. To make it easy to know it's theirs.

6. Cancel all matches that are not fair.

7. No admin can start another admins match.

8. If we have very big advantage in match, and they have been warned and still want to play. Go for it!

9. Remember that the group is for the members, not the administrators. Creating fair and fun matches that both players can win. Will keep our members happy and active, more so than other groups.

Matches and Vote Chess

Fellow admins, it is very important that the ✮ Chess Abrogators ✮progress at an orderly and measured pace. We cannot have too many matches and vote chess games beginning at the same time. Hence I propose the following guidelines.

Each admin is allowed to start a maximum of ten matches a week.

The number of vote chess games is limited to twenty-five.

When match challenges are sent, they should be directed at specific teams.

These teams should have a maximum of 900 members.

They should also have an average rating of less than 1600

If we have a friendship with a team these rules do not matter.

If these guidelines are followed we can avoid any confusion, not overstretch the team and too many mismatches. It's very easy to send out open challenges and accept any challenges which we receive. It is more intelligent and creative to find teams we want to play and work out which rating requirement is best, and of course to come up with interesting match titles.

As a team we look at the pros/cons of each candidate move giving us the best opportunity to find the best move. We believe that you will improve your chess and we will win many games.

We therefore ask all our members to adhere to the following guidelines when voting:

1. Only moves discussed can be voted for.

2. There should be no voting for the first 24 hours of the move. The only exceptions to this rule is if the move is forced or is the only established book move for a particular position.

3. If there is only one candidate move being discussed after 24 hours then you may vote for that move.

4. Once you have voted, post your vote in the comments.

Rules are there not to inhibit but to allow the games to run smoothly making the experience a worthwhile one.
