Dunbar HS Chess Club

Our high school Chess Club is a dedicated group of around 10 members who share a passion for strategy, critical thinking, and friendly competition. We meet weekly to play, learn, and improve our skills together. Each month, our club benefits from special instruction from an experienced chess coach who guides us through advanced techniques, strategies, and game analysis. In addition to our regular meetings, we participate in local and regional tournaments, where we represent our school and test our skills against other players. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, our club is a welcoming space to develop your chess abilities, challenge yourself, and enjoy the game.
