This forum topic is to explain how to be a part of our vote chess matches.

We may join by scrolling down on our team home page, and clicking on the rubric 'vote chess'. You will then see usually one or more games currently available.

After choosing a game you will be able to join in by clicking on the 'Join' bar.

In order to decide on what move is best for the team, we discuss with other inscribed members in the team chat box. By suggesting our thoughts for following moves and giving our reasons, we normally use notations by referring to pieces and squares on the chess board. If we want to mention what stage of the game our move is, we write the move number first.

For example: if you think for move 1. that we should move our Kings Knight above the Bishop, the notation should read: 1. Nf3.

If we are talking about blacks move, and want to bring out Queens pawn out two places, We type 1. .......d5.

Or maybe a pawn move? Queens pawn out two places should read: 1.d4.

We normally choose and offer a minimum of 3 Day/move. This means that each team has a limit of 3 days from the start of their turn to decide on what move to make. If no move is voted for by that time, they forfeit the match.

It is preferrable that we wait until the last 24 hours to actually make the vote the team decides on. This is because as time goes on, better moves are usually found.

In the event of a tie between the same number of votes, the most recent vote is decisive.
