Hastings and St. Leonards Chess Club was founded in 1882 and owns it's own premises. The club is open every day, except Christmas day, from 1pm till 10pm. The busiest times are weekend afternoons and Friday evenings. Refreshments are served by the house-keeper at 4pm and 7pm.The Club's history boasts numerous Masters and a number of World class players. The playing facilities are second to none and the Club has a comprehensive library.
