Vote Chess = Kibitzing Consensus

Vote Chess is a consensus driven game. No one is charge, no one dictates and no one is denied the opportunity to voice their thoughts! Sportsmanship in the comments is all that we hope for!

Although I help administer this group, you all determine what moves to make, the plans, strategy and whether to draw, resign or simply not play. If you do decide to leave a game by following the double verified withdrawal system, it is permanent and you can not get back into that particular game.

Vote Chess is the ideal platform to rub noses with peers in a chess game. The learning opportunity is unmatched in other chess vehicles. It is a slow process, but seems quick when it is time to make decisions!

Our games will almost always be a 3-day move process. The first 48 hours are for discussions. The last 24 hours are for voting but sometimes further discussion is warranted or someone may shine the light on a move no one noticed! If we vote to early, we may miss the ability to vote on a better move. I hope it is obvious that simply casting a vote is not learning. This is a consensus driven game and if you render a move that has not been discussed, you hurt the process and your own skill set suffers.

In version 3, the voted moves are displayed with a screen name so we can identify errant voters. There are always exceptions if a move is "forced" or part of an already agreed tabiya. We will not have monitors or guards watching the voting door, but try to follow the basic voting,
