The Kernow Chess Club.

The Black Prince is recruiting players with a connection, passion or affinity for the ancient Celtic heartland of Cornwall. With it’s heritage, love of pasties, rugged landscapes, beaches and chess now it has an active club on Chesscom.

Created on St Piran’s Day by way of a celebration, to which any members either Cornish, living in Cornwall, with Cornish connections or who simply enjoy the region and all it has to offer are invited to our club.

We are registered to compete in the UK County Championship 2021 and require active players now.

Strong, reliable and dedicated players with a connection to or affinity for Cornwall and a desire to represent the region can join here.

(Each application to join will be considered. Requirements include 3 months on Chesscom and the completion of at least 10 daily chess games).
