This is the online club for London Public Service Chess League players. To join this club you must be a member of one of the LPSCL over-the-board clubs.
The LPSCL 2020 Individual Blitz Championship will take place on Thursday 17 September 2020 at 7pm. It will be a single-section Swiss tournament, seven rounds, rate of play, 5 minutes + 5 second increments. The winner will be the LPSCL Individual Blitz Champion 2020 and awarded the Peter Bond Trophy. The highest placed U-150ECF player will be awarded the Roland Smith Trophy.
How to enter
Only members of LPSCL over-the-board clubs are eligible for this tournament.
- If you don't have a chess.com account, set up a free user account (click on 'Sign Up' button on left hand menu)
- Apply to join the LPSCL online club by clicking on the green 'Join' button, above right
- In the message box that appears, give your full name, LPSCL club and 2020 standardplay grade so you can become a member of the club
- On the day of the tournament, go to the club page and join the tournament up to an hour before the scheduled start time
Tournament table and names of the trophy winners will be published on the LPSCL website.
