Here r some General Info/Guidelines as to what u Can do ...

( However,if u don't hv d time to do much n' I've made u an Admin,it's ok ... tho u r more than Welcome to be Active n' it wld be Greatly Appreciated !)

.. Am Glad and Honoured to have u All on our Administrative Board !)

U can :

.. create Team Matches .. by issuing 'Open Challenges' or Challenging any Team u wish directly.( The more the better !)

Try to create more Rating Range Specified Challenges,if possible like eg,[<1400],[1200-1400],[1400-1600],1[600-1800],[>1800] or something like that.

If u create Matches with 'Open' Ratings ,try not to challenge the extremely Large Membered Teams but the smaller or equal ones to us.

Preferably,choose 'No Auto-Start' Option for the Matches so we can even -out the Ratings of Opponent Pairs ( by us or our Opponents,if it has been agreed on earlier),or remove any too Lower Rated Player (in comparison with their Opponents) ,before the Match starts/locking it ie. .. If u choose 'Auto-Start',then we have to keep removing those Players way before the Match automatically starts when the required number of Players have been reached.(which is rather tedious/time consuming !)

.. accept Team/Vote Match Challenges from other Groups or from the 'Open Team Challenges' Page.( but try not to accept 'Auto-Start' Challenges unless our Opposing Teams r of almost equal or similiar strength ,in terms of numbers, to us.This is so the Matches don't get automatically started with our Team being way,way Lower Rated in the pairings! )

If we accept 'Auto-Start' Matches,the same thing applies for removing Lower Rated Players in Opponent Pairs, as explained above.( for creating Challenges)

.. lock Team Match Rosters when u think we hv enuf Registrants from our side but do try to make sure our Ratings r of similiar value to our Opponents ( Pairs) as from experience,I can predict mostly losses if we r much lower rated on most Boards .(Of course,'miracles/upsets' do occur but more so occasionally than normally !) .. However,it's ok in Matches where we r higher rated on some Boards but lower rated on others ( approximately equal in the number of boards) ; that will balance out .

{tho occasionally, we can allow a few such Matches for Friendly/Educational purposes as some people may like to play with Opponents of much higher Ratings than them.}

However,Plz Do Not Lock/Start Matches where we r currently trying/asking more Members to join (usually to even out d Ratings or to fill up the Numbers required) and only cancel them if we can't achieve this after awhile.

.. cancel Team Matches If u think we r too lower rated n' hv no/very little chance of Winning but don't cancel d ones where we r still trying to get more Members to join !

.. create/accept as many Vote Matches as u wish .. try to join if possible to ensure we don't time out !

.. send out Messages to Members to ask them to join/register for any particular Team/Vote Match where we need more Players ( Higher Rated or any Range ,depending on d particular Match in Question) .. preferably with Links to those Matches or post them on our Notes Section or Forums Section.

.. invite people to our Group by using the 'Invite Tool' here or go to their Profile Pages to invite them by clicking on the 'Invite to join my Group' link on the Actions Box .. Plz Do Not send Invites using the 'Personal Message' Link (on any Individual Member's page) as this is considered as 'Spammimg' !

.. occasionally Welcome New Members to our Group by Names or as a whole by posting on our Notes Section.

.. chat on anything interesting on our Group Notes Section.

.. make new Forum Posts regarding any subject (preferably Chess-related or anything appropriate ),like Puzzles,Chess Games,General Discussions,Interesting Info,etc ......

Only 1 thing I request that u Not do :

.. Plz don't change our Group Theme/Profile Pic/Group Description as the current one's hv been created specially for this Group.( If u hv any queries abt this,juz msg me,or post them here .)

It's ok if u make mistakes ... juz do ur Best n' Let's hope our Team increases in Number as well as in our Team/Vote Match Stats !

P/S : I'm adding an Update here to our Team Match Rules :

It is better if All Team Match Captains Do Not Cancel /Lock Matches unless u r ABSOLUTELY SURE that other Admins r not trying to get More Players to even-out Opponent Pairs,etc,for any particular Match .

.. To AVOID this (Premature/Wrong Cancellation/Locking of Team Matches ),U all can leave the Cancellation and Locking of Matches to me ,if u r not sure .

However,Plz Create as many Matches as u wish.( tho there's a Limit of 5 Open Challenge Seeks at a Time per Group )
