It is a privilege to have the opportunity to represent a team on chess.com, and we expect that you will not only have fun, but that you will respect the reputation of the team while you play for us. We are a serious team that competes in many league competitions, including Team Match Championship League and It's a Knockout, and we hope that you will join us as a serious chess player.

We are happy to have you with us, and we request that you respect the following guidelines to contribute to the overall success and community of our team. Failure to do so will result in a dismissal from Namaste.

1. If at all possible, do not time out in any matches you play for. If you time out in a tournament match, you will receive a message inquiry. Failure to respond with a valid reason for the time out will result in dismissal.

2. Respect your opponents and teammates. If you are found to be posting threatening or abusive language in the notes, match log, or in game chats involving Namaste, you may be removed from the team without warning. This includes cheating. Appeals may be made via a private message to a Super Administrator only.

3. Participate! You did not become a member of Namaste to sit idly by in the sidelines. We have matches for all rating levels, so you do not have to feel left out. Additionally, we have a ladder competition and the potential for more internal team activities if we see member activity increase and/or requests made for additional activities. Your administrators are here for you, but we cannot respond to your interests if you do not tell us what they are!

As a member, administration expects you to participate in one or more features named above, remaining in contact with administration as requested via select match invitations and private messages. Please reply to these when asked. We are building a close knit community that functions on communication and dedication to the club. We look forward to having you be a part of Namaste's growth!
