It seems @GMRock-You-Get-Good closed his own account and I'm club iwner again, so I'm cancelling all the "covert ops" stuff. Maybe it was just me misunderstanding, but it sounded like a bad idea. If it *was* just me misunderstanfing, it needs rebranding to sound friendlier.
I'm just looking again at the new club desciption and I think it at least needs rewording. In chess lingo "master" often means titled player, you can't possibly be promising people will meet that level? Even if it's in reference to the "Mastery" level lessons on chess.com , those lessons are *hard* . It stretches credibility to promise being able to do those lessons easily within a year if you start from nothing.
New rule, Anyone inactive for longer than 2 weeks without letting us know you are on a vacation you will receive a boot from the group. We need active members. So as of today all inactive or banned profiles will be removed.
I'm just trying get more members. The core will remain unchanged don't worry. I'm not selling anything either. I just want to assist those who are learning with chess.com lessons.
Well, the origonal concept of this club was to discuss the official chess.com lessons, not the programs of chess.com users. Of course, I gave up ownership so I can't control what you do with the club.
Things are going to be different around here. As leader I promise to expand this club to hundreds if not thousands of members more and I will hold to teaching noobs advanced lessons on chess.
I'm not recruiting for admin currently, but I will look into it when the club starts getting more active. I will keep the fact you're interested in mind for later on.
